ADVANCED MANUFACTURING EXPLAINED: The Intersection of Lean Standard Work and Industry 4.0 Webinar
January 20, 2022 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Standard Work is the “tried-and-true” Lean practice of maximizing performance, with minimum waste, through the best combination of people, processes, technology, and tools.
And speaking of “technology”, Industry 4.0 is known to as the fourth industrial revolution and at its most foundational level is the connectivity / inter-connectivity of machines, devices, and systems. In an interactive session on IMEC’s ADVANCE WITH AUTOMATION webinar series on January 20, IMEC Technical Specialist Jim Floyd will explore how these two innovative approaches to achieving performance excellence work quite well together and facilitate the group’s sharing of best practices and questions regarding Standard Work and I4.0 working together – the Intersection of Lean Standard Work and Industry 4.0.
